Country-house-style kitchens create a cosy atmosphere and therefore cater to the increasing merging of kitchen and living spaces. As such, here at Concept Interiors, we offer our customers a range of Shaker style kitchens by German luxury kitchen manufacturer Hacker. This case study is a perfect example of a German engineered shaker style kitchen that we have recently designed and installed in Sheffield.

Billed by Hacker as “English-inspired cabinetry with German precision manufacturing”, as seen here, the new Shaker range boasts elegant contours, a neat combination of function and form, and the chance to incorporate a range of innovative storage solutions for the perfect, practical kitchen. By combining the simplicity, functionality and sturdy construction that have long been the hallmarks of Shaker kitchens with the modern characteristics of typical German kitchen design. Hacker has created a kitchen range that will complement the most traditional or modern home.

In this stunning cashmere shaker kitchen, the door style offers the best of both worlds to the UK home owner who prefers a more traditional looking kitchen with German engineered quality. At Concept Interiors, we offer the creative styling of the classic English Shaker but behind the facias and door fronts lies a German engineered modular kitchen furniture system that allows for superior levels of bespoke personalisation, but without the premium price offering of traditionally made shaker furniture.

This kitchen has been fitted with 30mm Ice Chip Quartz worktops with 100mm up stands and built in drainer grooves situated over the Dishwasher to the right of the undermounted 1.5 bowl Franke stainless steel sink. The stunning opti-premium glass splash back sits neatly on top of the up stand and finishes perfectly to the underside of the window cills aside of the hob and wall mounted extractor.

The majority of the appliances are Neff and include two integrated 70/30 split fridge freezers situated either side of the built in double oven and combination oven / microwave in the aperture space on the back wall. On the “U” shape, we have included for an undercounter wine cooler, integrated dishwasher, induction hob, wall mounted extractor, undermounted sink, Quooker Fusion Square all in one boiling tap and integrated pull out bin. We have also extended the worktop over to create an informal breakfast bar area at the opposite side. Our client also opted to finish the styling of the kitchen with Armac Martin knobs and handles which look superb and create that “wow” factor appearance.

The doors into the kitchen have also been painted the same colour as the kitchen units and the floor has been finished in a rich oak which really adds that element of quality and compliments the colour of the furniture and worktops.
