Within each and every individually tailored kitchen design, we can produce distinctively unique cabinets and features. The many years’ experience of our skilled craftsmen and their ongoing development enables us to call on the traditional skills whilst working with leading edge techniques and technology to meet your specific requirements. From beautifully sculptured and immaculately finished focal points to precision engineered joints designed to withstand the toughest environment – our craftsmen have it covered. To compliment these skills we carefully choose only the finest materials to reflect the ideas you have for your dream kitchen.
Cabinets – Our entry level standard cabinets are made from 18mm Melamine Faced Chipboard and they all have a solid 18mm back to ensure the robustness of all of our cabinets. You can upgrade to veneered high density fiberboard, veneered plywood or solid wood cabinets. Whichever you choose, you can be assured that careful consideration has gone into the design of our cabinets to ensure they are able to support the weight of heavy worktops made from materials such as granite and marble.
Cabinet frames – Our cabinet frames are made from solid tulip timber or solid oak and walnut, which adds to the structural strength of the furniture and reduces the possibility of the frame splitting around hinge stress points. High density fiberboard is used for painted commissions as this material is rigid and durable and helps prevent the paint from cracking or flaking.
Hinges – We use only the highest quality of hinges designed and manufactured to cope with the stress and strain of constant usage. We use a traditional butt hinge as the standard, which is recessed into the door to offer additional support. However, you will of course be able to choose an alternative hinge if you feel it better suits the style and look of your bespoke kitchens.
Drawer boxes – Our Drawer boxes are made from 15mm Oak or Walnut or Stained Pine. They are dovetail jointed and feature a solid 9mm plywood base to allow for easy opening and the ability to cope with heavy contents. Using soft close runners with a lifetime guarantee.
Painting – Our team of experienced painters will first visit you for a full consultation to decide on the perfect colour palette of your choice for your new kitchen. They will then fully seal off the kitchen and complete all the preparatory work essential for the fine finish that is needed to fully hand paint your new kitchen. Vacuum cleaning at every stage to keep a dust-free zone!
From the vaguest of ideas, a particular colour, a shape you can’t quite describe or even a fond personal memory, we have the experience and expertise to create a beautiful English bespoke kitchen to suit your heart’s desire.
